Roses in Wild Weather

A singing afternoon of early and traditional songs, directed by Victoria Couper.

Date & Time: Sunday 19 March, 14:00 - 17:00

Ticket price: £10 / £5 for u-25s & students

Venue: Fabrica

Get your rose-tinted spectacles on for a fun afternoon singing a range of early and traditional songs. Repertoire will be mostly English music from the 13th – 17th centuries – some in unison, some in 2 or  3 parts. Besides love and flowers, our songs will also touch on one of our favourite national pastimes – discussing the weather!

No music-reading skills required as songs will be taught by ear, but music and lyrics will be available.

Presented in partnership with Fabrica. The Fabrica charity café will be open on 19 March for tea, coffee and light snacks.
