Family Events
Each year as part of the Festival we schedule at least one event which is particularly suitable for families and children.
Tickets for all Festival events are completely free for under 12s, and we are happy to advise on the suitability of programmes for particular age groups if you contact us.
For a number of years we have collaborated with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in order to bring their OAE TOTS events for under-5s and their families to Brighton.
Other recent family events have included Perseus, Andromeda and the Sea-Monster – a show for primary age children and their families, staged at Friends’ Meeting House in central Brighton and at Whitehawk Library in East Brighton.
For our BREMF@home edition we worked with Spiritato! and puppeteer Delyth Taylor to produce a film version of their family show Birds, Bugs and Other Beasts which was screened in autumn 2020.
